Fourth Trimester & Gratefulness Days 3, 4, and 5
The fourth trimester is the first three months of a baby’s life. It’s the true newborn stage, the time when a baby adjusts to life outside of the womb. For me, this time has been crucial for me to bond with Addie. I didn’t know the “fourth trimester” was something I should have paid attention to when I had my first baby. While I did bond with her, I didn’t try to slow down during those first three months at all.
As I neared the end of my pregnancy with Addie, I decided that I would slow down during our fourth trimester. I am happy to report that I did my best to stop and enjoy this time. Of course life couldn’t come to a complete stop for three months, but sometimes it’s okay to just stay home and do nothing.
Now Addie is three months old and I am feeling so blessed to be her mama. She is a sweet, happy baby. Here’s a look back on the last three months with my Addie girl.
And since I am so behind on my gratefulness posts, here are three things I am grateful for:

That I am able to be a stay at home mom
