Halloween 2018 and Gratefulness Day 1

Halloween is always a fun holiday for Jeremy and I, because we love dressing up in costumes. Since we started dating we would try to dress in themed costumes. We haven’t been able to dress up every year but we try! This year didn’t work out like we planned. We went to trunk-or-treat at our church on Saturday, where we changed the girls into their costumes in the car! Jeremy didn’t even have a costume and I was a thrown together version of Catwoman. Addie was dressed as a cat and Annabella chose her own costume - Spider Gwen. We didn’t even get to take a picture of Addie and I together. In face, I just took a picture of her wearing her cat costume today! One day after Halloween.

Addie is not a fan of the fur touching her face!

As for actual Halloween, we stayed home and watched a movie. We wanted to take the girls to a Harvest Carnival but all of us were cranky and needed a calm night in.

With Thanksgiving this month, I decided to start a blog series today about gratitude. Each day this month I will share one thing I am grateful for. Today I am grateful for my husband because he not only goes along with my crazy ideas, he actually enjoys it. And he does everything in his power to make my crazy visions reality.

With that in mind, here is a look back at Halloweens past:

2013. Not real costumes but we matched!

2014. One of my dream costumes. A 1920s flapper and her gangster. Notice his boots that he still wears today.

2016. My all time favorite family costume. Dinosaur hatch-ling, veterinarian, and Jurassic Park ranger.

2017. Belle, the Prince, and the enchanted rose.
